Ka'ruhn, having always felt constricted by Vulcan rules
and customs, finally severed all ties to her family on her
18th birthday and fled the planet. Definitely un-vulcan in
her persuit of fun and pleasure, she eventually found work
on Risa as a fairly unique hostess.

Several months after beginning the job, Ka'ruhn met a 
vacationing electronics designer who enjoyed fun as much
as she. Two months later, the two were married and 10
months later still, T'pal was born.

Inheriting an unconventional worldview from both his
parents, T'pal is easily bored with mundane tasks and
has been often reprimanded for neglecting some of his
more routine duties in order to, in his words, 'liven
things up' among the crew. His vulcan appearence 
and minor telepathic and empathic abilities have, in the 
past, allowed for some serious pranks to be pulled by 
him on unsuspecting crewmates.

Having recognized a good tatcial mind that needed to be
kept busy, T'pal was recommended for a position at ALB
where he put his creativity to good use.
